TowerJazz, the global specialty foundry leader, successfully implemented Manager (Impact Change management) with Dpro to manage and provide solution of all SOX requirements from SAP changes requests process.
The Manager provides enhanced and flexible change control capabilities and full audit visibility of all the changes from change request initiation up till it is finally approved and ready to PROD.
Tower also checked other tools and solutions and decided that Manager is the most suitable tool and the best solution for her.
At TowerJazz, Manager diligently supports a lot of changes requests scenarios and enforces the change control processes, throughout the full change process cycle. It provides dynamic definitions for each scenario according to relevant approvers and operators of the cycle. Manager provides full change control and automatic documentation of all change requests (CR), with corresponding workflow processes and associated e-mails, documents, free texts to/of approvers, developers, implementer and business personnel. The change process starts with the initial CR approval by the CIO, throughout the phases of design, customization, development, testing and final approval of being ready for PROD through STMS QA.
With Manager, TowerJazz ensures that every single newly issued CR is automatically associated with a pre-approved work item.
Additionally, Manager provides a comprehensive reporting tool with detailed and current information on each CR approval status. This is the first part implementation of full Dpro’s SOX suite: SOX, Publisher, and Changer.
“The implementation was carried out in a fast, professional, and straightforward manner by a company that has in-depth understanding of the field. As a result, we benefited from the added value of a focused consultation on the process and the company’s willingness to assist us with changes and modifications.
In a field dominated by ‘Goliath’ brands, this is a classic ‘David’ product: smart, focused, and providing a full, comprehensive solution for monitoring changes in the system.”
